It does look nice Jim, nothing wrong with that. It's just my opinion on redials, as that means one less original watch.
If a watch needs a redial because it is knackered, by all means yes, but why not find a knackered watch or dial, save the original and have the knackered one painted in the colour of choice?
Personal choice, of course, and I respect that.
The case has certainly come up like new, has Jeff regilded it? I'm all for that if a case is buggered!

I'm on the fence with this one. I have quite a few restored Bulovas, and their biggest issue is usually the bad dial. On Shawn's advice I have sent a few now to International, and they've done an excellent job.
I sell my watches in my store, and one thing I can say is, the customer doesn't care how shiny and clean the movt is if the dial is worn out or ugly. I have some real gems in the vintage category, but again, cosmetically they are sub par.
I'm all for originality, but if it's a faithful re-dial, I'm ok with it, unless it's a ridiculously rare high end watch. Then the collectors are the other way, they don't want them touched.
With this one, I'd say I personally like the result, the collector in me says oh well, re-dial, and the shopkeeper says who cares?
