Watch Description

Well low and behold we chat about a certain watch in a different thread and boom... of course I find on ending auction today.  Looks like a gentlemen's 1948 Engineer to me.  Showing the original inner and outter boxes. Everything looks in brilliant shape.  Even looks to be sporting the original Bulova strap in the ad as well.  I'm super curious if I'm going to find a hang tag in this one when it arrives.  I'm guesstimating on the movement as I don't have the watch yet.

I had wanted that one also Plainsmen. I've been watching it for 6 days.  But your pockets were deeper than mine. I'm as anxious to see the movement as you are. It looks almost new. Fill us in on all the details about it when you receive it so I'll know what I missed out on.

Sorry Bob... I think I was on tilt from losing out on that 20's ladies enamel last night!

I found another one and received it today. The one I got is a 1946 and it's in a rose gold case. It has a 1946 8AE 21 jewel movement. The dial is the same as yours. I wish I could show it to you, but photos won't work for me on here.

That's a dandy plains! Nice snag. I saw that one on the bay the same day we we're discussing it. remarkable isn't it?

Engineer  - very nice condition.
