Watch Description

Case has no markings on the back -  Gold filled    Symbol on movement looks like a rhombus with 10 marked in it???   I have put 1922 only so I can get this on the site for your consideration.   I do not know the date.  Stem and crown appears to be a replacement??

Edit:   Avertisment Added:     The advertisment is from 1922 add no 3 of 36  - Top "954", but this watch is 14kt white gold and the one I have is yellow gold- to me the case looks the same and the face looks the same. Case is 24mm.   Lug end to lug end is 27mm  Hinged Case opens from the side

Edit:  Changed date to 22 from 24

Nice piece.

'25 Year' Case is Gold filled, pre 1924 with 1921 - '22 being a more realistic Date of production.

Its not solid Gold, the "Warranted 25 Years" stamped inside the case means it is Gold Filled.

I agree with Fifth, probably 1920-22 as a production range, and it is a very nice watch in very good condition.

Unknown for now.

Sure looks like the 954 in the ad in root record, or 953 for fill model.

I agree Will, and the case serial gives a case date of 1920, so either a Rubaiyat, but no ads for a Rubaiyat in this cushion case, or most probably a Lady Maxim, with a 1921 date.

LM '953' variant.

I was just thinking that the '10' inside the rhomboid denotes 10 ligne, and the AI is the model of the movt, so it is a 10AI. This might be the way they ID'ed the movts before they started using the system we are all more familiar with.

Or did we cover this already? Anyway, this is the ubiquitous FHF Robert movt.

Yep that's exactly how I see it too.
