hi guys, hope someone can help, i need a body for a 10btc dont matter about any parts or not as long as all jewels are present, thanks, steve

Steve,

I have a 10BT and I believe the only difference is in the wheel in the train to make it a center sweep.

You can check this out and if I am correct give me a PM and we can talk.

hi jp, thanks for your reply, my btc has a centre sweep, i have a bs and a bm movement which seem to be of the same family but with out the centre sweep which means the hole in the body for the pinion wheel is smaller which would'nt be a problem for some one who knew what they were doing. i need the body as the balance wheel jewel is missing on mine. if i am reading your message correctly it seems that your bt movement will have the small hole. any tech help you may suggest please bear in mind i have only been doing this for a few months, thanks for any help you may give me, steve

I forgot to ask, 15 jewels or 17 jewels??

I'll look into it and see what I find. If it only a mater of the pinion wheel I think I can fix that. I have a fifteen jewel movement so we shall see.

Steve, I don't have the book I need to confirn or deny the ability to use my frame but I am going to call a friend and see if he knows. I will get back with you as soon as I find the answer.
