Anyone want to help ID some of these Bulova 23 to possible variant?

Under the main "Search" dropdown menu, there's a search "MyBulova Models".  This page lists watches in the database by their current model names.  A nice way to organize information. It's also a nice way to see where we may have some ID's incomplete or incorrect.  When I went to the "B" section, on page 2 of the B's, I found many Bulova 23 models listed as the generic base model- a Bulova 23 without any variant letter designation.  Sometimes we don't know the variant, so we list as generic without any variant letter.  But some of the watches in this section can now be ID'ed to variant letter, and some may not even be Bulova 23 at all.

We have all the Bulova mat ads in 1955/56 ad database, and other Bulova 23 ads in the subsequent years.  Ads like this late 1955 Bulova mat ad showing a several early variants of Bulova 23.   We also have another page showing Buova 23 variant ads by year at: The Bulova 23 series

If any members want to help ID some of these generic Bulova 23 to their variants, it sure would be useful.  It's fun too, and gets folks familiar with how the various ad databases work.  There are several in there that have ads on site and can be ID'ed to variant if anyone wants to help.

Please help us!  It's fun and useful!!

The link above could do with updating, as there are several new "23" variants in the newspaper ads, the "J" and the diamond dial for starters!
