Anyone remember these? What was Teen Corner all about?
Counter stand.
Its a cardboard counter stand from a department store I imagine. The girl and boy heads are layered on top of the back board which has a stand on the back. Very unique piece of Bulova history and hope that someone remembers seeing this back in the 60s. We don't have any information about a line of Bulova watches aimed at teenagers other than the graduation adverts we see.
When I was searching through all of the archived newspaper ads a few months back, I came upon many articles that promoted the local areas graduating classes to register to win a new Bulova watch. Most dealers were giving away a mans and ladies watch and it was promoted heavy around graduation time.
Maybe this display and promotion was sponsored in part by Bulova to draw in the younger crowd of future watch buyers?
