Direct Read President

How to add images to myBulova.com forums & comments

Hi..I realize that this is probably a long shot, but I am looking for a cannon pinion for a 13AL direct-read president movement.  If anyone has one or knows where I could get one, would sure appreciate hearing from you.  Will buy or trade.

Are you sure it is a 13AL and not the 13AT?

If you are willing to wait till after the first of the year I should have a used one from a 13AL you are wilcome to.

 

My watch maker will be out on holiday from the 23rd until teh 2nd of Jan. When he is back I will have parts from a spare movement I can share.

You are absolutely right...13AT!  These movements have been at the watchmaker for so long I had forgotten the caliber.  I dont't think the 13Al cannon pinion will work...my guy tells me that the direct reads need a special, extra-long pinion.  Appreciate the kind offer!

That is what I thought.

The direct read/jump hours are either 13ATor the 21 jewel 10an.

Unfortunately my cross reference books indicate that the 13AT does not cross reference to any other models so it is just 13AT parts that will fit.
