Ever find yourself getting caught up in an auction...

Gotta get this watch!! It's the cats meow!!  It's sliced bread!!

I'm waiting and waiting and anticipating.... and WHAM... the big show comes.... and BAM.. I'm outbid!!!  WHAAAAAA?!?!  OH NO YOU DI-INT!!  So's I put a bigger bid in.... WHAM!! Outbid at the last second and I LOSE!!

I'm a LOSER!!  I'm PISSED! I'm ranting and raving.... hearbeat all adrenalyised....

I slowly start to fade from white hot... to red hot... to a sort of orangy to yellow... to regular iron..

And then I take a deep breath.... sit back... calm down a bit.

Think a few minutes.... and go.....

OH THANK GOD!  What was I thinking bidding that high?!  Whew!!  Hahaha!!  Ohhhhh that guy got suckered into that crappy watch for that price?!   WHAT A MAROON!!  Hahah....

(super secretly relieved he almost tricked himself into paying way more than he should/would have for that watch)

The end.... love plainsmen

It'a as if you were inside my brain! That's one of the reasons why I snipe, it takes the emotional aspect out of the process. I decide how much I'm willing to spend and that's it. Do I cheat sometimes? Hell yeah. But most of the time I stick to my guns.

I think Sniping should be outlawed. It stinks to set there and wait patiently after having put in what is a respectable bid and at the last 5 seconds loose to some one who used snipe.

John, if we both put up our highest bid what difference does it make when it's made? If the current bid is more than I am willing to pay then I won't bid. Should auctions be limited to 1 day, 2 days, or what? I really don't see the difference.
