Hey

My buddy brought a watch over today he bought.

Its a 10ae movement with triangle stamp on movement, the dial has rubies and diamonds on face.

The rubies are rectangle shape and are positioned at 12,3,and 9 oclock. It has diamonds in all other locations and a secend hand at 6 oclock position. Thw watch case is engraved all the way around the face of the case and is stamped " Id watch case company on the inside. Is this a put together? It is roll gold plated.

Matt

It is probably a replacement case that some Jeweler put together with a Trade-in movement. Quite common...here it is known as a "Frankenbully" ; O

Im going to say very probably since the triangle code for a 10AE puts it at 1945 (10AE from 1935 - 1945 so triangle would be 1945)  and Bulova marked all ( I believe ) of their cases then.

A pic of the case and all of its markings plus list or photo of everything marked on the movement would be helpfull

I have seen these kind of Bulova watches with the red rectangle ruby at the 9, 12 and 3.

Ticktock, please post a photo of your watch along with all the details of the movement and case.
