Information on a watch!

Submitted by marcitc on August 30, 2011 - 12:43pm

I was going through some of my mom's old stuff and came a cross a Bulova watch and I was wondering exactly how to find out what it is worth.  I know it was made in 1960 but that's all.  Should I post a picture or are there other ways of researching it?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The back of the watch says "Bulova M0"

                                                 10 K RGP Bezel

                                                  Stainless Steel Back

                                                  V414905

I don't know if this information helps to identify but I thought I would add it just in case.

Pictures of front & back, movement & inside back case are great for identification. You can also check our ad database for a match, check on years 1958 thru 1962. click the Information tab at the top of this page & select Vintage Bulova Ads & follow the yellow brick road. Have fun.

If it's blue, it's been refinished that way. Bulova didn't use blue back then. Not rare but unique to some extent. Any dial can be redone just about any way you want it, blue, red, burgundy, orange, 2 tone's, just about anything you want.

polkadots?

As stated, custom colors on the Vintage pieces indicate a refinished Dial to non-original specifications.

Yes Jim, not all Excellency models had the word "Excellency' on the  front dial.
