Real or Fake newer Bulova?

Looking into a pretty good looking used Bulova Chrono...   I just can't find it anywhere online.

The guy says he got it as a gift in late 2009.  It looks very much like a Buova Men's Diamond Chronograph 96E03 or 04 but I can't find the black gold combination like this watch

Here it is side by side with the 96E03 in silver dial:

What say you gents? I've been looking for awhile now... more I look more I'm thinking replica.  There isn't a picture of a watch like this online in this two tone color I can find yet.

Who knows, Bulova are now owned by Citizen are they not?  Churned out by the millions....

If something is WORTH counterfitting, it will be counterfitted. I don't see the motive to counterfit in the price range you are looking at Plains.  If it was fake the market would be flooded with them. I bought a fake Rolex Daytona used for $35, just to satisfy my curiosity about the watch. Exterrnally I could not tell the difference between real & fake. The fake keeps Quartz time & the push buttons and crown were exposed to the base metal, a real Rolex is perfection inside & out. The difference of course is on the inside. Rolex movements are perfection personified. There are sites on the web that deal in selling counterfit high end watches.

If you have doubts about any watch, don't buy it.

I've avoid buying any watch from anyone if all the owner had was a pretty picture this the one above. Rings alarm bells! Looks much nicer in the photo.
