Well Stephen, the lady,  ROMOLA REMUS, had some problems also.

Her father,  George Remus, was a pharmacist, turned attorney who became a millionaire from representing bootleggers and bootlegging during prohibition. Many called him the Bootleg King.  He killed his second wife (big trial in Cincinnati 1927).

Romola took jobs as a singer in cabarets and theaters to assist her father's defense.  Her father, George Remus, was found not guilty by reason of insanity on Dec. 20, 1927.  He represented himself during the trial.
