? for Stephen or anyone about a 1926 Lone Eagle

I'm thinking of buying this watch but I am wondering if these are the correct hands for a 26 Lone Eagle

The hour hand looks a little off, but I wouldn't worry too much about that. Do you know what the movement and case serial numbers are? From that I'll be able to tell you if its a 1926/27 Conqueror or a 1927 Lone Eagle (5000)

The minute hand is perfect. I have never seen or have a picture of a lone eagle with a curved shaft on the hour hand. Most of the ads lead you to belive that the hour hands are cathedral. But I have pictures of LEs with the plain teardrop & straight shaft. If the price is right, I would jump on that bugger with glee and worry about the hour hand later.

Good Luck

I have to agree with Stephen both hands look off and does the crown but it's still a great watch and can be 'tweaked' by the owner.

Guys, The movement is 17 jewel cal. 10an. The pat. date on the inside of the case is June 10  1924.

the case s/n is 6637785. I'm hoping it's one of the 5000.

I really shouldn't be buying this so close to Christmas, but I have been wanting a watch from the 20's and I have been wanting a Lone Eagle or a Conqueror. Sooooooooo will SOMEBODY PLEASE TALK ME OUT OF THIS !!!! :-)    The seller is asking $600.00 so if you guys say that's too much I won't pull the trigger.
