I thought I would ad this ad to this case.  This was manufactured by the Arrow Mfg Company.

I appreciate that Geoff has already posted one of these, but these pics of mine - just acquired, empty - provide an alternative view.

I am hoping to buy an Accutron Calendar CK - does anyone here know what sort of box they came with please?

It's hard to tell for certain Davy, it could well have been the one you show here.

Here's an interesting one presumably for the European market. It came to me holding a 1972 Ambassador "Waterproof" 30 jewel, which I believe to be original to the box. I have never seen another in an ad or in person.

Wish this one had the watch in it. Cardboard box ID's original watch as a Lincoln. Based on the paperwork, I believe this one dates late 20's to mid 30's. Box bottom is gold in color.

A transitional Academy Award case.  I believe it is the original case that came with this 1953 ladies AA "NN" as indicated by the writing in the booklet that came with it.

This is Bob's golden curtain case transitional Academy Award case.  Maybe pre or post the adverstising of the AA line.

And a comparision shot of my 3 cases.  The one on the right is like Bob's above but the inside cut out is slightly different.  The cases are all the same size.  The angle I put them it makes the outside ones look bigger.

Adding many photos of this rather rare box (second one I've seen to date). The path of the Post & Gatty expedition 'Round the World" is shown on the four sides of this presentation case. The holder rises up out of the box when the lids are lifted.

1960's era Goddess of Time Box in orange.  The watch inside is a 1969 Bulova Rondo "E".  Not sure if this was original to the box.

  1. 1940’s watertight

1940 watertight

Here is the side of the box and also we have one watch in the database from 1940 that shows the Watertight name.   After 1940 the name was changed to Watertite. I think it is safe to assume that this box belonged to this style of watch but probably due to some copyright issue had to change the spelling of watertight.
