Dose anyone know what the finish of the watch face from a 1955 Ranger was called?Looking to have it re-finshed but the origial is bad.

Silver? - the term is 'Butler' finish.

Simply inform the refinisher that You would like the Dial refinished to original, they will take care of the rest - Keep a photographic record of the original in case of any discrepencies.
