The face of the watch, when out of the crystal casing, says Swiss. On the back of the latch is written Kreisler Quality, Gold Cont 025. Inside - 17 Seventeen Jewels, 5AC, RS AF, 49, Unadjusted, Swiss, BXW. The watch originally belonged to my grandmother who was born in 1904, given to my mother in 1996 upon my grandmother's death and I inherited when my mother passed.
I am assuming that the BXW stamped into the back of the watch is the initials of the person who assembled the watch...is that correct? The watch in the advertisement page of 1947 is shown in gold, but near as I can tell, it's the same model
White-gold Bracelet & link band w/chain.
