Additional Information

I picked this watch up for the working movement but after getting it I am thinking I will leave it as is, the M/N is one of my favorite Her Excellency cases.  I believe this is the Her Excellency "M".  It has a 10K gold filled case, 6BA 21 jewel working movement, nice clean ivory dial with gold numbers.  Serial # on the case is a capital i for 1949 and the movement is a 48.

Additional Information

Hello,  This is Her Excellency "B" that is white gold filled.  Far less common to her sister watch, Her Excellency "A" that is yellow gold filled.  I have been keeping my eye out for one of these and one finally came up.  Ironically a nicer one came up after I purchased this one so I may get a second one.  It has a 10K white gold filled case, 21 jewel 6AK working movement.  I have a NOS cord band for it but I quite like the one that came on it.  This was probably a graduation gift as the young lady was 18 in 1947.  Will have a comparison shot with the Her Excellency "A".

Additional Information

I believe this is a Her Excellency "BB".  It is 10K gold filled with a 21 jewel 6BC working movement.  It came with a Her Excellency case and guarantee booklet which were what I was most interested in and was happy to pay what I did just for those.  The watch is nice to have as an example of as well.  Thanks!

Additional Information

I believe this is a Her Exellency "F".  It is 10K yellow gold filled.  Has a 21 jewel 6BA movement that has been serviced by the seller.  It is a pretty clean watch all in all and a nice example for my Her Excellency collection.

Additional Information

So I picked this up because I believe it is probably an Academy Award watch.  It is the same case as the "F" variant but with a dial like the "J" and "H".  The "A" has the curtain dial with a "J" having this dial.  The "B" has a curtain dial and the matching "H" with this dial.  So my thought is that the "F" has a sister watch with this dial.  But it is just a guess until an ad might show up for it.  Until then I will keep it just in case.  It is 10K gold filled, has a 21 jewel 6BA working movement.  What are your thoughts?  Should it be a "F" or Unknown or a generic Academy Award?

Update:  Found an ad for Her Excellency "MM" that matches this watch.  Replacing ad.

Additional Information

I was pleased to pick this one up this week.  I believe this is Her Excellency "U".  Possible hand replacement but otherwise in really nice condition.  It is 14K white gold with 2 diamonds, 1 on each end.  The 21 jewel 6BA movement is working nicely.  I replaced the band with a NOS cord band like it would have had originally.

Additional Information

I am looking to collect most of the Her Excellency models from the 40s.  Not every variant/color but I would like to get one example in each style.  So here is the one I picked up for this model in white gold which I believe is Her Excellency "V".  It is 14K white gold with 6 diamonds.  Three on the top and three on the bottom.  It has a 21 jewel 6BA movement that was listed as not working but I was pleased to find it is indeed working and started right up.  Looks like the minute hand has been replaced.  Fitted with a NOS cord band like it would have had originally.

Additional Information

Dear Forum,

With some help I have been able to now upload photographs of my “Mimmie’s Watch”. Sadly in my family the mystery of the watch has been extremely difficult since both my beloved Mimmie has long passed away. I was given the Watch on my 21st birthday as a truly beautiful gesture and gift from my Papa (Grandfather). He has now also passed and the only other person is my Mother and sadly she knew nothing about the Watch.

A very kind person helped me with the photographs so they could be uploaded to my account. The case numbers and markings are hard to make out, so I am going to explain:

On the case top  it reads: “Bulova 10k Gold Filled”

On the case bottom it reads: “ H562694”

The inscription reads: “M.A.A 12-25-1947” it was a Christmas gift to my Mimmie

The watch itself is silver or white gold. The hands of the Watch are a beautiful blue color and the best part is it still works.

The mystery is mainly because I can’t find any Watch like this one. Some are very similar but they are not in “White Gold”.

THANK YOU in advance for your time and help me find the truth behind my beloved Mimmie’s Watch, my special Family Heirloom.

Additional Information

This is my latest find in the Her Excellency line.  I believe it is the Her Excellency "S".  It is my first watch in solid 14K yellow gold.  It came with a stretch replacement band that didn't really match so I put the cord band on it.  I am going to try and find a NOS band like the original.  I purchased an ad to go with it.  Thanks.
