14K Solid White Gold case with 16 Jewel Movement: 6FL, not stamped with a date code.

Case is by AMERICAN STANDARD with SHIELD emblem and stamped 14K as seen in photo above.

Jabs,

I looked at the Norma, but the design pattern on bezel, and sides does not look like my watch.

There are lines in the bezel design which breaks up the design flow on the bezel.  My watch does not have those lines -as seen at the green points above.

My watch has a continuous flow in the design on the bezel, and my watch does not have the side design (zig-zag design) as the Norma.

What do you think, Jabs?

Texas Lady,

if I compare the adverts of both models, I think it will be one and the same watch from another time period,

it is not possible to determine the dividing line from poor quality adverts

since Norma's advert of 1924 and Lorna's advert of 1927, I would be inclined to go to Norma ID

Ironically both could technically be wrong as the watch has a 16 jewelled movement and is early 1922/23.

I'd say that the Norma and Lorna (very similar sounding names) are a different watch model looking at the two photos. However the adverts show a potentially differemg story as they look the same. One thing I do know is that advert mats were used to show different models that looked very similar in appearance.

I'm more inclined to agree that it's a 1923 Bulova Lorna, based on the solid 14K gold case and engraved dial.
