I inherited a beautiful La Petite watch from my grandmother. It was given to me in its original box and in amazing condition. I cannot find any markings on the back of the watch to help me identify it, other than the La Petite 23 Jewels that is listed on the box. Can anyone help me identify it? I am afraid of encountering a jewelry butcher when I have it opened and identified...so I'm hoping someone could give me some information. I will try to update with some better photos. I found a similar watch from 1949, but the watch band was not the same as mine. Mine continues the watch pattern onto the band, where the La Petite from 1949 has a black leather band, and no ornamentation.
