I casually bid on one like this just this past week. I didn't pay attention and I lost out. I think it sold for around $38.00. I was thinking that the case is the same as the Air Warden and may have a connection.

I like it!!!

A late forties / early fifties Bulova dressed up to look like a Gruen Pan American? Seems like I've seen two or three of them in the last month.

My first GMT watch was a Pan Am, I flew the military version of the Boeing 377 designated the C-97.

It wasn't really a watch, but it worked great!

All of the Companies producing Watches with this style 24hr Dial, and there are quite a few, refer to them as Pilot Watches. Think Air Clipper or something along those lines in Your research?

As an added note We're still missing a Watch named 'Around the World'. It's in the database, at least the box is....

It's a handy dandy sliding time converter, tells what time it is in any city in the world.

1. Set the City (time zone) your in. opposite that citys correct time.

2. Read time in any other city in the world, opposite that city.
