I got this watch when my grandpa passed away, it came only with the face part so the wrist band is not original. Getting it running again was no easy task, people I took it to kept poking it and shorting it out.

I would like to know the probable amount he would've bought it for in 1971 and how much something like this would go for now.
Why is it so difficult to find the exact face of it? There seem to be hundreds of different styled accutrons.
What would've the origional wrist band looked like? Leather or steel? What style?
