Unknown Square Dial.... UPDATED with variant natural gold case.

Submitted by plainsmen on February 1, 2011 - 12:11am

Don't know this watch... very cool looking rose gold case with a matching rose gold bracelet.

At first I thought it was somewhat like the surgeon/blackhawk case as it's around the same size and square but this dial is extremely flat with no convex at all.

Don't know if that '45 stamp is factory but it's very close... if it's hand stamped it was done really well.

Closest I can figure so far is the 1942 Carrel... though that one is natural gold with a silver face....

Could this rose/rose be a variant?

Close call Jerin.

'Carrel' appears to have a slighty curved bezel and smaller lugs which are set off the face.

Being that the Date stamps are on 2 different parts of the movement I'd guess they are both machined.

Nice Watch.

Welp....  I think I just picked up the non-rose gold version of this watch...

What do you think gents?

I'll post up when I get it.

Very nice.  I thought I found you a white version on sale now (you know where), but it's not the same.  Maybe a later version?  Here it is anyway.

Looks pretty close but the lugs are just a little off.  The lugs on the older watch almost seem to be fitted as seperate pieces.  They have distinct seems between the lugs and body of the case.

The one you've posted I think it's  a pretty smooth transition.  They look very very similar though.
