So on the road I stop at a huge antique store in Des Moines, Iowa....  and I found these ads in their bins... HUGE ads like the size of old Life magazines like 11"x14" maybe.  Immaculate....  the photos I'm showing here were taken in a hotel room with my cell phone... plastic is still on them, but wow.  I'm very stoked... I'm going to frame them and make them nice wall pieces in my work room.  They were $4.95 each... except for the one with the Presidents from 1940.. that one was $7.95.

I'll be able to scan them in their original size probably... we'll get pretty high def of these.  The colors are vibrante and I'm pretty happy with them!

Sweet eh?!

Oh I also found this ad for a 1940 President... but just took a picture of it as it was the only Bully on an advertisement of about 11 other watches...

Jerin,

Got' em, except the last two... However that last President is likely then a: "B," "C," "D," or "E?" And that case/dial doesn't look like any 1940s "President," or "President A" I've seen to date... (And this is also the first 1940 ad I can recall, with that dial design... Good One! :-)

And are the four men's on the bottom of the 1949 ad, going to be named? Or might you also post a crop of that quartet, please?? (Something? Squadron, Excellency "??" Statesman???) Are the no. of jewels denoted, perhaps? I'm still wondering what the Statesman looks like, and whether it's actually 17Js, vs. 21??

Bottom of the green 1949 ad..

Bruce 15J ,   Squadron 17J,   His Excellency "CC" 21J,   Duncan 21J (14k gold, marked Excellency)

The '49+ "DUNCAN" takes the following glass, according to the 1950/1 Perfit crystal catalog:

Duncan (50ish)

HMC216/4F

which looks just like the (1947) Excellency "SS" glass... so that's apparently the "Duncan," above?! And if it's SOLID 14 karat YG, then I'd say the 21 Jewels, might then be correct???

Hey Jerin,

GREAT! I don't think I have illustrations+ of that version of "Brewster," nor the Excellency "CC"?" If you can later get a zoomed CROP of those models, the Duncan, etc... then I'll post the glass+ here, then on eBay if I still have the time... next week, or so...

THANKS :-)  Scott

That Duncan doesn't make sense... it's got Excellency on it... it's 21 J.... it's with all the other His Excellency's... it's 14kt gold... weird.

HMMM... Same Crystal as the Excellency 1947 "SS" I posted yesterday... (Most "Excellencys" will take one of two sizes of crystals, mentioned below, in my "SS" post...)

I sent an Excellency "CC" to Philip that was resold several months ago...'ll post it, when I locate the pics, or maybe get them from him???Not sure on the (5th+) Brewster, just yet!?!

And the "NN" and "GG" models are always in demand...

Another nice find for the big guy!!! Are they big enough to frame? I'd be taking down my 80's art work and hanging them in my living room :)

Yeah...  they're going to be nice pieces framed I think.  11x14.... all 6 of them.  With maybe matting and a nice frame they're probably going to be a little big... but what great pieces for a study.
