Hey, Wayne, tonneau expert extraordinaire--any thoughts on this one?

Bulova signed hinged case with 1927 patent date and dust cover

Movement serial number: 696361

Case serial number: 1107594

Case dimensions: approx. 37mm x 26.6mm

Obviously, it has undergone a crown transplant at some point

We've seen a plain version of this tonneau style as the Governor and a un-named ad showing this exact model.

Time (excuse the pun) will tell.

Man the movement needs a good clean and polish!!

Stephen has designated the watch you show as a Bulova Richard Varient . Yours is the first I have seen with applied gold numbers & modern hands.

Bulova Richard as depicted in this 1929 ad has never been seen.
