Could someone help me in identifying the above watch.

I received it either as a birthday or graduation present from my parents in 1970 or 1971.

The band is a Durchess.

On the back the following number can be seen. H109961

Thank you,

Z.Szabo

On the back should also be a letter number code (L3 or something..) that will date your watch from the drop down menu above under information (post it as well). you can then search that year under the search tab above as well. Ive seen that dial on here  but cant find it on a 23jewel right now it seems...my first guess is a Bulova 23 , but the only place im finding that dial is on a 30 jewel President....A date will help immensely.

What a fool am I!!

It's NO, meaning 1970. I didn't look at correctly, I thought NO meant  No.

Click the Information Tab above, select Ads in the drop down menu. Search the 1964 ads. Your watch appears in a 1964 ad for Bulova Presidents. Copy the whole ad. Your watch is the last one on the bottom. The ad, bottom right corner looks like this. 1964 is not necessarily the year that your watch was manufactured, but it is the year it was advertised. M4 is the date code for 1964. If the code is not visible on the outside back case, it will be on the inside. Next time you have the watch serviced ask the jewler to look for the date code.

Hello,

I went to the watch repair shop.

Here is the engraved number: 10CPACD

On the covering case (inside) 2525 was engraved.

Therefore:

Date code: N0

Case No. H109961

Inside: Bulova U.S.A *** 10CPACD

Case cover inside: 2525

I tried entering these  data's but it was unsuccessful.

I still don't know whether it's a President, a Bulova 23 or something else.

Do you have any ideas?

Call it a Bulova 23 with a panneled dial for now! It's a start. you found out that we are sorely lacking 1970 Bulova Ads. You found an identical watch, except it is marked 30 Jewels vs 23 jewels for your watch. Not to bore you with history but, the purpose of this site is to compile a history of Bulova watches & your watch is a part of that history. You can help by finding 1970 Ads anywhere you can thereby, increasiing your knowlege, adding to Bulova history & also find out more about your watch as you go!

Not a 'PRESIDENT' they became 30 Jewel auto's in 1964.

The cropped ad You are showing Wayne is for a 30 Jewel Automatic.

So the question begs, did Bulova release a 23 jewel version of President. Everything is identical except the movement, maybe they upgraded to keep up with the competition, maybe the 23J was produced in a limited run.....maybe....maybe....that would be cool.

The hunt continues........

Could be as simple as its a Bulova 23, with no ad as of yet to back it up. The simplest answers are usually right.....

Greetings to everyone,

Perhaps it's a combination of both.

"Inventory clean out" with a very nice band, to greet the new decade, namely the 70's!!
