My Bulova Collection....

Submitted by plainsmen on June 18, 2011 - 5:16pm

I've come out of my summer slump for a sec to show off my collection a bit.  Just got back from a trip and looked at my watches... I realized I don't think I have a pic of my keepers... welp.  Here's my keepers... so far!  haha....  I started collection the last week of Oct. 2010..... can you say obsessive?

Sheesh.... what you think ladies & gents?

Oh I'm sure they do!!  haha...  Actually Mike in the first picture... the Oceanographer in the bottom left is going to be sent to you probably in a few weeks.  It's not running and needs a good cleaning... I'm going to give it to my buddy for a gift.  He's been talking about getting an old "wear around".

Makes me feel much better.  I only have about a quarter as many, but amassed in the last 6 months.

I have to get around to posting the runners and then the fixers as they get done.

Hey, that bracelet on the Rite-Angle - is that the original?  Because I got that exact one on a 1937 American Clipper...

You know Doug I dunno.  It's probably the one the guy walked out of the store with, but I've only seen the Rite-Angle advertised with the leather band.

I'm thinking a lot of these nice gold plated bands were "upgrades" salesmen offered when a guy/gal bought the watch.

by any chance do you have a 1947 Director in that collection?
