Hey guys,  Been looking over the old ads but can't seem to find this one.

Any idea the model or year?

Thanks in advance.

Information on the back of case or inside movement?

number on the back of the case is 6549274.

I haven't taken it apart as I'm not sure how to get the back off.

i'm guessing around 1952-54 with a 8ac or 7aa/ak.calibre movement?   Look for the 2 digit letter/number on the back, usually below or besides the "Bulova" word. The back is just a snap on and can be levered off at one end, look for the little tab.

L3 is the number

1953 then, my guess was good on that front.

Thanks so much, is there an area of this site or another site that shows all the models from 1953?

More Worms!

I have a L2 like this in White Gold plate with a stainless back. It has a 17J 8AC L1 movement and the much discussed 3 Diamond dial. I was thinking that this might be another "Director" model.

I am waiting for a set of hands to arrive, but I will post a picture of it tonight when a chance.

I did think it looked like a director but wasn't sure.  The case back looks like it was worn together so I am scared to try and open it.

If I were to sell it, what is it worth?

I have had 3-4 similar to this ranging 51-54. I have searched the adverts but cannot see this model..........We dont do valuations on here. Try searching ebay to get a rough idea

1952 White Gold with 17J 8AC (L1 movement) 3 Diamond dial like the Director ad's.

Crystal size is 21.6mm x 17.6mm curved on the short dimension, which could be one of many models including the His Excellency's and AA's

Another mystery to solve...
