I'm thinking late 30's?

Okie dokie.. snagged this in a lot.  Don't have it yet, but will clean it up and update when I do.  I'm thinking it's a 1938-39 Minute Man... some sort of variant of it you know?  It is very much like our examples of the Blackout, Air Warden, Blackhawk, General... etc.

What do you think gents?

wow, now that's sweet!

Plains, all of the other similar looking Watches have had different Names than their more familiar counterparts and I beleive We will find it to be the same on this one. Not a 'MINUTE MAN' IMO but very cool nonetheless.

agreed the Case is possibly 'MINUTE MAN' but as with the 'SENATOR / BLACKOUT' and the 'PRESIDENT / GENERAL' the Dial and Hands say it's going to be named something different. I'd be very surprised if not.

Oh.. yeah.. I see what you mean.  I agree whole heartedly and I'm very curious as to what it will be!

Late 30's maybe even very early 40's, I have a couple early 40's lumed dials that are unknown but look like they are original...I wonder if back in the day you couldn't get "factory" upgrades like a lumed dial from your local watchmaker??

If you happened to be in WWI or even early WWII and was lucky enough to make it home, wouldn't you like to be able to see the time in pitch black darkness?

early '40's, agreed.

I added an image to one of Your's Greg some time back.
