So I already had one of these with the original band....

But not in the original box with the original band!!  Woot!

I'm okay with the price.  Essentially what I paid for the other one I have without the box.

So now... I guess we see which one is more box worthy and maybe re-"gift" the other. =)

Anybody wanna buy a watch?!

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's the original band.  Here's my other one and as you can see.... same band.  So I'm thinking it came with it at least as a purchase option.

I would think the band is Org. Simple & strong.  Was talking with a freind the other night and he said the Bulova watches are simple yet elagent.

Yeah... your probably right.  So now that makes 4.... I've those two... the ladies pictured with the engraved... and a black dialed non-engraved.  But the redial on the black is pretty horrible... so I need to get it redialed again.

There's a 1938 ad that indicates there were "seven handsome models" of the Rite-Angle.  It's not clear whether the ad refers just to the men's or the ladies' models also (although "handsome" usually refers to the masculine).  In any event, you've got a ways to go yet.

Hello,

I know you Guys are talking about engraving artwork on some of the cases,  I would like to ask your opinions about personal engravings on some case backs. I think some are great and give some watches personality. From a collectivity stand point do these engravings hurt the value and shy some away?

In a word.   Yes.  The desired standard is w/o, although I've heard folks say the engravings give the watch character...  however with all else equal, those with personalization are less desired- unless it's an important dedication.....like the watch from Bulova to Lindbergh etc...

I think you got a good deal in this one, the box is very rare, and it looks to be in very good shape...

The dial spots may just be a crappy crystal...KEEPER!

The seller said it was a dirty crystal and the dial was clean.  So we'll see what it looks like when I get it.
