Acadamy Award 1950

I am seeking advice regarding the potential purchase of a watch listed as the above. My concern is that it has an 8AC movement and I do not see it listed in the records as a movement used  in an Acadamy Award. Can any one confirm or otherwise if it was ever used in this watch. Thanks in advance.

I'm aware of the Watch You have mentioned.

It is not an 'AA' but has been identified as the 'CROMWELL' - examples in the database.
