Lookit what I just snagged.

Late 20's Curtis!!  I've been eye'ing one of these for quite awhile.. one came along today and I through what I thought was a lowball snipe at it in the last few seconds and WHAMO!

From the pictures the case looks to be in excellent shape!  Some new cathedral type hands, a nice black strap, and she's a beaut!

Nice one...not too much work to get it into shape, the hands look pretty good just the way they are, but the only "ad" we have is showing the Cathedral style hands.

The expansion band has to go...

The hands all tublar like that really match the numbers... but then.. they didn't have that style of hand until what... 1940?

I have a Watch dated 1937 or '38 showing this style of Hand (Radium) and I question their originality on that piece, the first ad they are shown in is from the early 1940's, or 1940 (?)

I would concour with Fifth. These are first seen on the Blackout, Radio city, Nighthawk etc.
