The mystery Bulova watch....what is it?The watch is from 1927, it's 14K solid gold and is in a sense one-of-a-kind. It also holds some very historic significance....what is it?

Let's hear your thoughts and see who is right when the true story of this watch is revealed in 2 weeks time.

This is one historic Bulova watch.

..no clues from you Mr Will Smith :-)

I'm thinking this watch might have something to do with Charles Lindbergh.

Could this be the watch Lindbergh wore on his historical flight?

what's "time hill" factory?

Bulova made their watch cases in the US but imported the movements from the Swiss up to the mid 30s, then they started manufacturing the movement in the US as well.

Thankyou Stephen - my mistake - I was thinking of Gruen.  Long days and late nights

I have been restoring old fusee pocket watches and am new to Bulova watches.   They certainly made some fantastic watches.

Let me have another go at the pictured watch  - was it the one presented to Lindbergh after his trans atlantc flight?  Do not know the model.

Hi Stephen

Seeing as no-one else seems to be commenting on this watch - I may as well have another go.

Could it be the very first Lone Eagle watch ?    Derived from the Conqueror ?

I wait with anticipation for the answer.
