Lady's Platinum watch

Submitted by b4awl on June 26, 2017 - 10:09am

The watch in question is a rectangle, case is 1 x 1/2" marked Platinum #5329. The inside is filled with 'repair' notations, looks like over 30! The case is set with six baguette blue saphires and fourteen faceted diamonds. The watch is running and keeping time. The movement has no serial number. Markings are Bulova Watch Co. Swiss K IV 518 3Adj. 18 Jewels. The number '63' appears in a tiny trapizoid. The winding stem is set with a saphire also. I would appreciate any comments.

Thanks

My New (NOS) Moon Watch

Submitted by Geoff Baker on June 13, 2017 - 9:29pm

Considered adding it as a new watch addition but thought twice and decided to drop it in a forum. I bought it about four or five months back. I didn't even take the dial protector plastic off so it's never going to be worn, I guess it's safe to say it's NOS. The 'moon highlight set' (display stand) is something I picked up last week. It must have been for dealers and makes a great way to display the watch. Watch model is 96B251 date code is B7 (2017).

I have a 1959 Pesident C model that has a badly damaged caseback. I need a new caseback but I have been unable to find one. Does anyone have one of these csebacks they would sell?

It is marked 10K Rolled Gold Plate, Bulova L9 and there are no case numbers inside it is only marked: Bulova, Fifth Avenue, New York.

I don't know how to add photos or I would.

Hi, I found a Bulova at a flea market and I want to take the case back off to check its condition. My question is, how do I get the casback off? There is the notches that suggest it's a screw down but I can't unscrew it no matter how hard I try. Anybody know how to get this off?

10COAC Replacement Stem

I'm looking for a replacement stem for a 10COAC movement and am having trouble finding the model stem or a cross compatable stem. I inherited the watch from my grandfather and have fixed the movement but he had lost the stem a long time ago. If it helps it's off of a 1965 commander D, I can't find a parts list in the database for it. Any information would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
