I purchased this Bulova recently and took it in for a cleaning. They replaced the crown but I think they popped on a generic one. I have seen new old stock crowns available online. Does anyone know the correct size of crown or better yet the part or stock number?

Bulova 23 Watch Back

I found this Bulova 23 that I want to restore, but I am concerned about the back. All the similar Bulova's we have on our website show a normal style backing for Bulova. As you can see from the picture it is quite different, any ideas?

I have a 1952 parts interchangeability catalog that I scanned and turned into a pdf file.  Where can i upload it? Is there a specific area of the site or just here in the forum?  It's a 53 mb file. CAN I even upload it? Legally.  Either way, If anyone is interested and I can, I'll share it to the site. It's kind of handy when I've needed it.

1980's Bulova gallery

I thought it would be cool to own a Bulova from my birth year (1988). While 80's Bulova's may not be considered vintage or good looking, I at least wanted to see what my options are but I cannot find a gallery of 1980's era Bulova's anywhere on the web. I did find on this forum that 1980 Bulova's are marked with a "p8". Any additional help you can provide would be appreciated.

Rebuilt Bulova 23

Submitted by dktaylor on February 8, 2017 - 4:53pm

I have a Bulova 23, 1956-1959 based on the 10 BPAC movement, unremarkable except for one thing.  Under the words 23 Jewels on the upper part of the face is the word REBUILT.  It is stamped on in the same manner as all of the other wording.  Any insight into this?  I've been asking around for years at jewelry shops but only get shrugged shoulders.  Thanks.
