I saw one in the database just like it listed as "unknown" and also went through the ads with no luck, so I guess probably still unknown.  The one in the database has a beautiful filigree band with matching stones, but had a plain crown. This one has a stone in the crown.  Its in great shape and running strong... It's  on my wife's wrist as I write this...

Hi Alex,

No "American Standard".  It's "Bulova" with "New York" and set out as follows:

 

                    Pat. June 10, 1924

                            Bulova

                             14 k 

                        Gold Filled

                         New York

Yup.  Its 8356757.  When I checked the case this evening I wrote it out, and it matches the number I had put in when I posted the watch in 2013...
