Watch Description

Hi all,  This is an interesting one.  I picked it up hoping it is a Bulova case and I think it is but would love your input.  The case is marked PAT JUN 10 1924 and 14K.  There is no serial number on the case and no signature.  It has two diamonds and 4 sapphires.  The band is 10K.  It was sold as not working but it is ticking away : )

Edited: Added an ad for Duchess.  The ad is from the partial ad section dated Dec 13, 1929.

Thank you, Bob!  Yes, I think that looks like a match.

Shape (see bottom corners in ad), stone placement and shape, engraving and face as well as jewel count appear to match the ad. The band on your watch appears to be slightly different than the ad and I believe yours may be a replacement or jeweler upgrade. Band appears just a little small for the lug spacing; however, it's solid gold with matching stones to the watch. Based on the watch itself, my current vote is

1928 Duchess

That is an exceptional watch!

Thank you Bob!  I agree especially on the right side of the ad photo it looks like the right case and jewel placement.  The band is likely a replacement upgrade.  The sapphires are darker but are a great match to the size shape and even the setting on the watch case.  The deployment clasp is really nice so there will be no stretching out as the expandable bracelets can do.
