Watch Description

Beautiful 1928 Bulova Pemberton. This one is cased in a June 10 1924 case marked 14 k GF, as shown. Dial refinished, hands and numerals re-lumed by International. Wonderful engraving detail.  The other Pemberton I have is cased in 14 k solid, http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1929-pemberton-2344

Sweet Pemberton, Geoff! Looking good on a Pigskin.

That's one interesting case/movement holder. Not see it used before in any other model. Geoff you said it had the 1924 patent date on it. Does the movement have the dust protector?

Nice redial too.

No Stephen, it doesn't, both Pembertons are the same in that respect. Movement just drops into the case back.

Love the case detail in these, nice score on both the solid & GF version Geoff!

Pemberton from me! Great one.   I though the June 1924 patent date referred to the dust shield, and was only stapmped on watch cases which originally had this technology?

Geoff  Do you remember if this one also has New York case sig?  Your solid gold example doesn't say.
