OK nice looking hands but I think I can do a better job than IDC. Just me and my opinion. ; ^ )

The Bulova Windsor

Bulova Windsor
Here's a 1929 Windsor ad snippet from the decades thread.

There's two 1929 (blurry) newspaper ads showing it as the Cromwell on page 2 in this 1928 Windsor watch record.

I go with 1928 Windsor ID, as I think the top ad above is from a Bulova produced advertisement, if I remember correctly.

Well if Bobbee ads are correctly date then this model changed from Windsor to Cromwell sometime in 1929. Is that a fair enough assimption? The advert we also have is dated 29 June 1929, so it would be post that date if there was a name change.

or....maybe the name diiffernce is once again related to the geographical market in its place or sale.

Also note the different movements. A 8AN  and 13AF.

If the year of manufacture is the telling factor and the names changed sometime in late 1929 then a 1928 Windsor would be correct for both. Both I think both need a tentative rating.

That's a fair assumption.  Is the very first ad I posted above from 1928?  Both records in DB are 1928.
Yea...I saw the two diff movement models...I'd hate to think its a matter of small size differences...
