Watch Description

As far as I know, this was my grandfather's Bulova. This watch was in my father's posessions.

I intend to have this watch restored.

Didn't we also come across another model not long agao that closely matched this shape. I'll have a look through the records. I'm sure there was one similar but smaller (I think).

Unusual year gap between the movement and case 27 v 29. Normally this era of watch they have a good match and at most are out by only a year. No big deal as to the model ID.

That movement serial number blows the first 5,000 theory out of the water though!

A 10AN with a serial number starting 222 should pre-date the CCLE's, according to the above theory,      but this one is stamped for 1927!

The movement in this watch is obviously not original to the watch as it dates to 1927, whilst the case dates to 1929.
