Not positive I've got the right manufacture year. Also have no idea on Model. Can anybody help?
Still works!

In reply to Yep, all looks ok. Its a 6AP by mybulova_admin
Thanks for commenting, I was beginning to think no one would. I was thinking it was a 1929 that had been fixed with parts from another watch, like the part with the 6AP on it.
I was wondering what the hand written markings "=6184" to the left of the patent date meant?
They are jewler service marks. Unlike cheap disposable quartz watches of today, people actually took their watches into be serviced if they broke or were running fast/slow.
You see alot of hand etched markings on the inside back case for many 1920s & 30s+ watches. I gather its the service code the jewler made as a service record.
I'm also curious about this watch. I just inherited one exactly like it from my grandmother and am still trying to learn how to safely remove the back from the movement. I can remove the back of the case but am scared to remove the clear glass that still covers the movement. The watch still works!
Anyway, my watch appears to be identical to this one and I hope someone can identify it. If so, I will gladly upload pics to add to this site's excellent database.

salex, the dust cover just lifts out... Sometimes the gunk that builds up within the case will hold the dust cover in place but you should be able to wiggle the movement by the stem and it will pop up and just lift it off. Some of these are a mica film and touchy so try not to put your fingers on the mica.
