Watch Description

Case is in very good condition with hinged back - very little wear on the case and lugs.   Case is 29mm X 26.5mm not icluding crown - measured with calipers.   Lug end to lug end is 36mm.

Watch dial has had an initial cleaning and was once lumed but the looming has come off.   The hands were  completelly rusted away making it difficult to get the face off.    Movement has been repaired and is running very well.    AS you can see I need a set of hands for this watch - I think they would have been cathederal hands if anyone can help???   also need a crystal for this watch - the original was yellowed.

Do not know the model name - will leave that up to you guys and gals ?

I don't think we have identified this model yet.  Overall they are very striking.

For the hands ou might PM a member here JP.  He has had some of the cathedral hands available previoiusly.

Ahh yes the problem child of 1929...refusing to be identified.

Edwin is probably the closest but the subject watch lacks the top and bottom engraving.

Into the Unknown bucket you go....

Your right Stephen -  with the right bit of knowledge, one of these days we will be able to identify them all ????       That bucket must be overflowing by now!!

Once upon-a-time it was...but we have certainly made a massive difference haven't we.

I remember back in 2006 when almost every Bulova watch I saw was an unknown....now days thanks to the tireless efforts of myBulova.com members the opposite can be said. That fact gives me goose bumps :-)
