Here I am at a loss to watch I bought because am impressed by the beautiful band
case is the same as Magnolia, which I have in my collection, but this piece does not dial with subdial
I do not know if magnolia was manufactured in this modification, or is it some other model

Case sure is similar to your 1929 Magnolia without sub second. Case dimensions are comparable??
I'd have to say 1929 Unknown due to no subsecond....but she is a beauty.

Thanks for pointing out the difference in case color. I missed the comparison.
White Gold and no subsecond. Wonder if those minor differences would warrant Bulova to give her a different name? Your dial in the white gold version certainly looks like it fits the white case.

Yea Unknown from me (for now). You can check out the discussion on differences btwn Magnolia and Suzanne here. This possible change for Suzanne to Magnolia circa 1927 makes me suspect the subject watch is not a "Magnolia" w/ diff case color and dial configuration. Therefore Unknown.
