Watch Description

Watch appears to have original radium dial and hands (light radiation burn marks visible on dial at time of 3:27).  Crystal is a later acrylic replacement, but movement covered by what appears to be the original Bulova acrylic dust cover (now yellowed with age).  Case width 26mm (excl crown),  29mm long (37mm incl lugs).  Hinged case, only marking on outside is 'OPEN' engraved opposite side of the hinge.  Movement punched with the 1930 Bulova mark.  Crown may be later replacement.  Movement overhauled and lubricated, and working well.

This watch appears to be the 'ALBERT' model as the engraving, case and dial is consistent with that model.  Very few of these models seem to have surfaced.

What a fine looking watch you have Evitzee, Mike certainly does a nice job doesn't he? Crown is a replacement but looks OK. I see 'open'  on quite a few Bulovas of this era, I wish they'd have put that on all of them, it sure would have saved a lot of case hinges!

Agree with 'Albert' ID. Sock drawers are opening, second one in a month.
