Watch Description

I just inherited this watch from my grandfather. It appears to be a 1930 Spencer, but would like some assistance with the identification. It also resembles the President. Has a glass sheil to protect the movement. Keeps great time. I wear it every day. Any help would be appreciated. jeff

Looks like President.  Any chance we can get a picture of the inside case back w/ signautres/hallmarks?   Or could you type in what those markings say?  Please and thanks.

Hi Jeff, having your grandfather's Bulova = Priceless. I think you are very fortunate to have this keepsake from him! Wearing it requires servicing it regularly as well, at a minimum every couple years depending on the environment you work in. I'm sure you are aware that it can be restored with a newly painted and relumed ( glowing numbers) dial as well, here's my President:

http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1929-president-2836 (yes I know the hands don't match).

It's personal preference, some like the fully restored look, others like 'em all original. Either way, spend the money to have it leaned and oiled.

President model, a real beauty!
