Additional Information:

This one is a 1931 Bulova and that's about all I know about it. The movement is a 9AF and it has the "shield", "omega" and "F" stamped on it for date codes. The crystal is not the correct one. It's the right size, but doesn't have the right curvature. I think the correct crystal is a G-S MX458, but I didn't have one. Something I have observed that has me puzzled, Bulova likes to use "666" a lot in serial numbers. Even some of their water-proof models say to a depth of "666".

Nothing stamped on the outside of the back and nothing to show case metal content.

Unknown, I've seen this one in white and yellow. Here's his brother: http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1931-unknown-2501

That's the same model. At least we know that it came in white and yellow. That's more than I knew before.

Nice watch, A.

"six hundred, three score and six"

The number of the best!

666 feet was what they used before adopting the 200 metre depth rating.

666 ft= 202 m

Interesting. I had a watch recently that was triple date stamped, it had the Omega on the plate under the barrel, which is odd.

Unknown for now.

Unknown for me as well.

666 on later waterproof models was the depth rating for 666ft.

I knew that Admin. It's also the mark of the beast in the Bible. It's a Satanic taboo number.

I believe this is also the Yacht Club but in yellow gold.  Just more worn so the angular lines are more rounded.

It does look like the Yacht Club.

$50 is almost $800 in today's money, with approx. $100 a month payments. There are jewellers who still do this.
