Geeze Mark, Even a Blind man can see the dial does not match the ad and doesn't belong in this case. The Hands don't match the ad either. It doesn't matter what you have era wise. This watch clearly does not match the ad, period. And Yes, Of course it's not re-dialed but just what color should the lume be? Yellow, Green or just burnt out brown?
In reply to The print is very similar by FifthAvenueRes…
The more We learn the more I'm suspecting a bezel swap on this Watch, here is why:
an ad Dated 1930 shows the 'TREASURER' as a rectangular shaped Case.
We had not seen an example until recently and had considered the ad was maybe wrong, somehow.
Now there is an example matching the ad: Dated 1930. http://www.mybulova.com/watches/1930-treasurer-499
Close inspection of the hinge area on the subject Watch reveals that something is 'not quite right', it has been worked on in the past.
It's My conclusion that the subject Watch was originally the 1932 'BANKER' as the seriel number of the Caseback and the Movement Datecode match and Date to 1932.
* We do not see the subject Watch advertised as the 'TREASURER' post 1930 and the 1932 'BANKER' Caseback would fit nicely to the pre 1930 'TREASURER' Case bezel.
