Is it a mens or ladies size watch, bearing in mind mens of this era were small anyway.

I'm thinking mens, but the female sapphire cabochon crown is throwing me as to the size.

With a 10 AE movement this will be a men's model.

The case serial number might indicate a different year from the movement date codes and help narrow down the search.

Just looking at the pictures it is very similar to a 1934 Lone Eagle in the Data Base.

This one doesn't look quite right. It appears the dial is a bit to large for the bezel opening. Normally the minute track is set in from the bezel a bit more. It appears that it's partially obscured at the top and bottom. I'm thinking the dial/movement is not original to the case.

I'd like to see a close photo of the front of the watch (engraving detail) and the dial out of the case. It looks to be the shape of the Lone Eagle but I think the steps are smoother like this 1935 Alexander. Note however how the minute track is more visible in the Alexander. The Alexander also appears slightly wider

Are there any numbers on the case back?

i have compared the photo's carefully and the cases are identical, i think the crown has been changed to make it look more of a ladies watch and the face has been refirbished at some time in its life. i'll also post the case number later today, i would like to post more photos but not sure how to do so. help?

With  the added photos and serial number I'm less sure these parts belong together. The case s/n indicates 1933 and is engraved the same as the Alexander model while the dial seems too large for the bezel opening, the movement code indicates 1937 which seems too great a spread between case and movement.

I'm leaning toward Non-Conforming (which means the watch is a mixture of different components and cannot be identified as a particular model).
