Sorry, but no, I doubt that's a 1934 President. In fact the case looks to be an exact match to a Waltham I have. This would be your 1934 President as can be seen in the ads on file.

The pic of the unk has 4 steps, Bully has 3...

there's an ad showing a 4 step Bulova Case, '35 I think.

Case engraving pattern is Bulova (thanks Wayne, I'm catching on) as are the Dial charcteristics.

Maybe so Mark but not a 3 step AND a 4 step in the same year?...well maybe a '35 then with a '34 movement...hafta look n see....

this add shows '34 prez with no steps...

this shows a 34 with 3 steps...

this shows a 35 with 3 steps...

no '34 or '35 add shows 4 steps in our database.....36 again shows no steps, '37 shows no steps...

I suspect you are correct this case has never quite fit together properly

Is the case stamped Bulova?

We should not rule anything out until we have all the facts.

My gut says no, but we need to check.

Can't be a President.  The ends of the crystal are not curved and the President in this era was always 21 jewels.
