Hey there! This forum has been such a big help in identifying this watch. This was my great grandmother’s and kept in storage with my grandparents so it’s been untouched since then. Clearly, it was well loved. It’s such an interesting little piece. I believe this is a Lady Bulova from 1934. In the ad, there’s two styles, one has the engraving on the front and the other is smooth. They both came in White Rolled Gold and Gold Filled, it seems. So I think it’s the unengraved (aside from the edges) in Gold Filled. And I’m curious to know if this is the original band? It seems to be a leather bracelet and it does fit the watch but I couldn’t find any ads or information that showed anything like it. I'm not sure about the case number, it's worn down a bit. It does move at times! There's no rhyme or reason, it just sometimes starts going and then will stop.
Dear Andythrift, your watch is a lovely Lady Bulova from 1934. As per the ad, white color was 10K rolled gold plate and yellow color was 10K gold filled. Could you confirm if your watch indeed indicates 10K gold filled? The strap is certainly "period correct", but not the strap of choice used in Bulova advertising. As a result, it will be difficult to establish if it would be original to the watch when sold in 1934. But a nice strap it is!
