Watch Description

Here is a really interesting one. Yellow gold filled with no markings inside case. Exterior ends marked with serial number "10K Gold Filled" and Bulova with the American Standard shield. Band is a 3 herringbone chain style Kreisler with a patent number issued in 1935 on the clasp. Case Measures approximately 19.5mm without crown X 40mm .

To this point, I find no ads, but one example on site posted as "unknown", and one off site tentatively ID'ed as Air King based on crystal specs from  GS -1937; and 1943  GS catalog states Everett by that date. Both cited examples are identical and there is pretty informative discussion regarding crystal specs. Crystal is quite unique in size and also for it's slightly rounded corners.

This is one I have never seen before that I purchased with a description of "my grandmother's watch". Clearly it's a men's watch by production and there is a possibility the band is original to the original owner purchase. Minimal high point wear on case and band seem appropriate for them always being together. Running and keeping time.

Some grandmothers needed a man size watch in 1935, so they could see what time it was, speaking from experience.

My pleasure!  There are still ads out there.   You know need to find one of my unknowns.  I have a really nice 1970's ad coming from the awards division coming the mail.
